Tony Maack specializes in personal injury defense, insurance defense, and general litigation. Mr. Maack’s background includes work in insurance defense, insurance coverage, bad faith, and general commercial litigation.
Before joining Burger, Meyer & D’Angelo, LLP, Mr. Maack worked for two boutique civil defense firms in Seattle. He has defended insurers, companies, and individuals and has experience advising institutional insurance clients on best practices in Washington. He has handled a wide range of lawsuits, ranging from third-party car accidents to claims involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.
Mr. Maack also practiced as a criminal defense attorney for five years. He has significant jury trial experience. As first chair, he has tried nearly 25 criminal and civil trials in Washington. He is licensed to practice law in Washington, including both federal courts, and Oregon.
