Daniel E. Hernandez joined Burger, Meyer & D’Angelo, LLP in June 2026 as a partner. Prior to starting at the firm, he worked as partner for a prominent law firm in Los Angeles where he specialized in large-loss personal injury defense.
Mr. Hernandez specializes in defending large exposure litigation cases and represents insurers in affirmative cases against suspected fraud rings and those alleged to be engaged in the illegal practice of corporate medicine. He also defends first-party claims against uninsured and underinsured motorists.
In addition to an active civil litigation practice, Mr. Hernandez has substantial expertise in investigating suspect claims. This includes examinations under oath and preparing related coverage opinions.
Mr. Hernandez is a member of the American Bar Association and admitted to the United States District Court, Central District of California.
During his free time, Mr. Hernandez enjoys spending time with his wife, family and dog. He also enjoys going to the gym, long distance running, watching movies, boxing, football, baseball, soccer and traveling.
