Joshua J. Anderson has been a trusted advisor and lead litigator in complex matters for nearly 15 years. In that time, his practice has focused on insurance defense, business litigation, and labor and employment issues. Mr. Anderson’s clients have ranged from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, and that diverse experience affords him a well-rounded perspective in handling complex matters. He has successfully represented clients in matters with issues running the gamut of a business’s life, including issues relating to starting and forming a business, ownership disputes, contract disputes, fiduciary duties, fraud, employment matters, through “business divorces,” as well as defending individuals and businesses in personal injury and negligence matters.
Mr. Anderson has held multiple leadership roles within the Orange County Bar Association’s Business Litigation Section, including Chair, Chair-Elect, and Secretary/Treasurer. He was also recognized as a rising star in Best Lawyers – “Ones to Watch in America” (2024-2026) and Southern California Super Lawyers (2023-2024).
He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego and his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he graduated cum laude in the top 10% of his class and as a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he received the highest grade in seven courses.
In his time out of the office, he enjoys staying physically active by participating in triathlons (completing his first full Ironman in 2024), reliving his high school baseball glory days through recreation softball, and he is also a passionate supporter of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
