Biography

William C. Dickinson is an experienced litigator who defends corporate clients in a wide variety of personal injury, transportation litigation, fire loss, product liability, and professional liability actions. Prior to joining Burger, Meyer & D’Angelo, LLP, Mr. Dickinson was a partner at another national defense firm, where he worked for fourteen years. During that time, he achieved the positive resolution of cases through dispositive motions, pretrial negotiations, mediation, arbitration, and trial.

Mr. Dickinson received his Bachelor of Arts from Kalamazoo College and his Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis. While in law school, he served as editor of the Jurisprudence Review Journal, was a finalist in Moot Court, and won the Washington University Client Counseling Competition. In 2007, Mr. Dickinson spent a semester at the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands studying international law. He also served as a clerk for the First Circuit Court of Davidson County, Tennessee. In 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022, he was named to the Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.

In his free time, Mr. Dickinson enjoys biking, going to baseball games, and spending time with his wife and son, and their dog, Oscar.
